Prince William Regional Counselors Association 

The purposes of PWRCA, acting in accordance with the purposes of VCA, are to advance the professional and scientific discipline of counseling; to maintain, improve, and encourage high professional standards and conduct in the field of counseling; to unite persons engaged or interested in any phase of counseling; to encourage and coordinate activities in the region, functioning through public or private agencies; 

to function as a central clearing agency for pertinent information related to present or contemplated counseling programs in the region; to disseminate information and focus public on legislation which would in any way affect counseling activities in the region; to encourage research, creative, and experimental activities, and the publishing of educational and professional literature; and to conduct educational meetings, workshops, and conferences.
